Progressive Business Solutions didn’t start as a large operation or a fully built-out service provider. It started with one person, one workspace, and a commitment to doing the work the right way.

In 1988, Tim Catlett Sr. founded the business out of his basement, focusing on business forms and commercial printing. What set the company apart early wasn’t scale — it was dependability. Clients knew what to expect. Communication was clear. Commitments were met. Problems were handled directly.

That foundation shaped how the company would grow.

Growth That Followed the Client

As relationships deepened, the work naturally expanded.

Promotional products were added. Then facility supplies. Then furniture. Then fulfillment and warehousing support.

Headquarters Launch

Construction of a new home base built to scale operations and expand capabilities which remains the company’s current facility today

Warehouse Expansion

Warehouse expanded from 20,000 sq. ft to 30,000 sq. ft to keep up with growing demand.

2008

New Service Line

A client insight sparked our expansion into janitorial and office supplies.

Added Services

Expanded into MRO and safety supply offerings

With support from a manufacturer partner, we expanded into furniture—entering an industry with limited minority representation.
